Caught in the act!

So my last post I mentioned that we found a chicken bullion cube in our muffins on Sunday. Well yesterday I caught Emma in the act of putting another one in in the flour bin!



Guilty!!!

And I finally got a video of her attempting to walk today. She typically makes it about 4 or 5 steps before tumbling.

Computer

I figured I'd try to get one more post in before September is over. It's been busy again, I spent a week sick and have had a busy week getting ready for our Primary program today at church. I'm the Primary secretary and it will be nice to have a couple weeks off of Primary with next week being general conference and stake conference the week after that.

Anyway, I finally got my camera out the other day as Emma was playing on the computer. She loves to sit on my lap and type on the keyboard, I think she likes the sound the keys make. She also clicks with the mouse and has inadvertently opened a number of things and even turned off the computer. I think it's time to find her a little computer toy so that she'll leave me alone while I'm working.



She started posing for the camera at one point, what she is posing as, I really don't know but it was hilarious to watch.


Emma also likes to play in the pantry. Her favorite activity is to take all the bullion cubes out of the boxes and put them back in again. Apparently one of the cubes did not get put back in the right place at some point. We made muffins today and when we cut one open, there in the middle, wrapped in its foil wrapper was a chicken bullion cube. Somehow she managed to put one into the tub of flour and we scooped it into the muffin batter!

New Obsession

Emma is obsessed with her tounge lately, she is always sticking it out and then just laughs hysterically. I got her to do it for the camera today. 

Emma has the brightest blue eyes, I am always getting comments on them! She definately got daddy's eyes. Mine are also blue but nowhere near as bright as Bert and Emma's. 

One more month

I have taken zero pictures this month. It's been a little busy! It was my last month at my job, Bert was on break from school, and Emma can't decide if she needs one nap or two so our schedule was all messed up. We did go to the zoo, and I did manage to bring my camera (I was so proud of myself). However, once we got there and I tried to take the first picture I discovered that the batteries were dead...

Playing with cousin Ethan. She loves other kids. I can't wait until she can go to nursery (4 more months!)


And that's all... I'll be better next month. It will be my first month not working full time! Hooray!

Playtime and Popsicles

I had to post a couple of pictures Codi sent me when she was watching Emma for us. These cousins are too cute! Ethan cracks me up, climbing on everything. I'm afraid Emma is not far behind. She climbed a whole flight of stairs today!




Emma has been teething, her top teeth are finally coming in. So we've been letting her suck on popsicles to ease the pain a little. She graciously showed us her tongue afterwards.
