And she crawls... sort of

And last week she started army crawling. She gets everywhere now and even followed me halfway across the kitchen yesterday. And yes, her nose is running, we are both sick this week.

Real Food

So the next logical thing to do after your kid gets a tooth is ditch the baby food and give them real food, right?

Last night after she refused to eat her normal dinner of rice cereal, mashed peas, and pureed turkey, we tried a few other things. Here are some pictures of what she finally ate which included Cheerios, cheese, and peas. (Doesn't that sound like a great dinner?) She loved it, and loves feeding herself. And this morning I caught her eating paper.




And here is another favorite toy. Soccer player in the making... sort of.

A Tooth!

Emma cut her first tooth this weekend. I'm kinda relieved now that there is an explanation for the insane crankiness we have experienced recently. Crankiness complete with tantrums and throwing the head back as hard she can when she gets mad. Even in the bathtub.

No pictures of the tooth yet. No really recent pictures at all except for this one of her and Dad before church.
