Upcoming Holidays

The only thing that makes winter months bearable is the fact that Valentine's Day, my birthday and our anniversary all occur within a month of each other (poor Bert). But, while we have lots of excuses for parties, having this many holidays so close together sometimes leaves us short on ideas on how to make each one fun and different.

So what are your favorite things to do for V-day, birthdays and anniversaries? We need ideas!

Adamson Baby #2

Here is our newest little munchkin at 11 weeks. I know these things are hard to read, but that is the head on the left and in the second picture he/she is waving at us. The little tyke would not sit still during the ultrasound and was constantly rolling and wiggling and flailing it's little arms around.

The baby is due August 6th, just a month and a few days after Emma turns 2. She loves kids and little babies, we can't wait for her to get a little brother or sister!

Nursery!

Emma started nursery on Sunday. We are so relieved! Hanging out with mom and dad at church for three hours has not been her idea of a good time.

Bert dropped her off at nursery and she walked right in without looking back. The couple times we looked in on her she looked like she was just having a blast playing with toys, other kids, and having snack time and music time.

One funny moment: the nursery leaders gave the kids some hand sanitizer before snack time. Emma, thinking it must be the same stuff I squirt on her in the bathtub, promptly rubbed it in her hair!

Christmas

Here are a few pictures from Christmas, of Emma anyway.

The doll stroller from Aunt Sarah was by far her favorite present. She first thought it was for her and proceeded to sit in it, but once we gave her the baby doll she has been running around the house pushing her doll in the stroller.

Snow fun

It's been snowing all week, it's the first time it has stuck around for more than a day so Emma finally got to go out and play in it.

The purple marshmallow.

She just stood for several minutes saying "wow, wow.."

Emma and Daddy

And here is a cute one from several weeks ago. I got out her old bouncer when I was babysitting a 2 month old and Emma thought it was a great lounge chair!
