Outside fun

It's a beautiful weekend, we finally have warm weather! We went outside to play and Emma wasn't too sure what to make of the grass. I wish we had sound so you could hear her yelling.





She is not so sure about the hat either. She wasn't happy until it was off.







Note the rug burns on her knees and elbows. She crawls all over the house, she can't sit still!

Home Construction

So this is what happens when a sewer line breaks at your house.



The side view, lucky we have a side door.


And from the front window. You can't tell from here but the hole was 20 feet deep.


And this is walking out the front door, careful where you step.


It has been loads of fun for the neighborhood boys. They sat on their front porch all day yesterday watching the excavation. I just have to laugh, otherwise I might cry. Especially 'cause the next step is to tear out the floor in the basement and re-lay the sewer line under the house. Sigh.

Spaghetti Dinner

We had spaghetti for dinner the other night. I think she got more on her than in her! She sure had fun!

And she crawls... sort of

And last week she started army crawling. She gets everywhere now and even followed me halfway across the kitchen yesterday. And yes, her nose is running, we are both sick this week.
