Jackson, Wyoming

We finally got to take a vacation last week! We spent a long weekend up in Jackson, Wyoming and spent lots of time outside fishing and hiking. We also visited Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone. We didn't see much of Yellowstone, we only had a few hours and Emma was tired of being in the car. But it was a ton of fun and it was great to get away.

I found this today on my computer, it's about a month old and too cute to not post.

Outside fun

It's a beautiful weekend, we finally have warm weather! We went outside to play and Emma wasn't too sure what to make of the grass. I wish we had sound so you could hear her yelling.





She is not so sure about the hat either. She wasn't happy until it was off.







Note the rug burns on her knees and elbows. She crawls all over the house, she can't sit still!

Home Construction

So this is what happens when a sewer line breaks at your house.

And from the front window. You can't tell from here but the hole was 20 feet deep.

It has been loads of fun for the neighborhood boys. They sat on their front porch all day yesterday watching the excavation. I just have to laugh, otherwise I might cry. Especially 'cause the next step is to tear out the floor in the basement and re-lay the sewer line under the house. Sigh.
